My teaching experience began at New Vision Learning Academy and Carroll Junior High School.  

I began my teaching career  with Ouachita Parish Schools for 2 years, continued my career with Monroe City Schools for 12 years; and now I am back where I first started with Ouachita Parish Schools completing 3 years as an English Teacher at OJHS, overall 16 years as a teacher!!! All years have been rewarding!!! Moreover, I am embarking on a new journey as a school counselor serving in the education field for 19 years and counting!!!
