Embedding Google Slides under Composer Content Block

  • Compose 

  • Add element (Hover over content box. Add element should appear towards the bottom.) 

  • Embed

  • Open the settings by clicking the settings wheel within the content box or clicking within the box itself.  
  • Paste the embed code from Google slides into the box.  

  • To embed a Google Slide on Finalsite, open your Google Slides presentation, go to "File" > "Publish to the web", select the "Embed" tab, copy the generated embed code, then paste it into the "Embed" element within your Finalsite page editor.  

  • Access your Google Slides presentation: Open the presentation you want to embed on Finalsite.  

  • Publish to the web: Go to "File" > "Publish to the web".  

  • Select "Embed" tab: In the publishing window, click on the "Embed" tab.  

  • Copy the embed code: The HTML code will appear in a box, copy it.  

  • Open your Finalsite page: Navigate to the page where you want to embed the slide.  

  • Insert the "Embed" element: Use the "Embed" element within the Finalsite editor.  

  • Paste the code: Paste the copied embed code into the "Embed" element.  

  • Important points to remember: 

  • Make sure your Google Slides presentation is set to "Public": to allow embedding.  

  • Adjust size and other options: You may be able to customize the size and other display settings of the embedded slide within the "Embed" element on Finalsite. 

  • Save 

  • Publish (lower right corner of Finalsite)
