Teacher
I graduated from Centreville Academy in Centreville, MS, in 1999. I then attained a BS in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in December of 2004.
I have a BS in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University.
I am new to teaching. I am teaching Algebra 1 and 8th Grade Mathematics.
I was a Professional Engineer. I designed bridges for the State of Mississippi from 2005-2011, and worked in the same capacity in St. Louis, MO, from 2011-2012. I also pastored a church in Illinois from 2011-2022. I moved to Ouachita Parish in February of 2023, and pursued teaching as a career.
I have been married to my wife, Elizabeth, since March of 2006. I have four children: my son is the oldest, and then I have three daughters. All of my children are homeschooled. When we lived in Illinois we had chickens, cats, and a dog. Currently we are feeding a stray cat and her kittens.
I like to read, listen to podcasts, and watch YouTube. I love mathematics, history, language, and theology; so, yes, I’m a nerd. I’ve been studying Greek for several years, and have just recently begun studying Spanish. I enjoy spending time with my family and eating Mexican food.
